Billing, renewal and cancellation
- Pro renews automatically at the end of every billing period — monthly or annual — until you cancel.
- Cancel at any time in Settings. Pro stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Checkout asks you to waive the 14-day EU right of withdrawal so access starts immediately. After that a purchase is not refunded.
- Payments are handled by Polar, our merchant of record.
Questions people ask before paying
- Is the free plan a trial?
- No. It has no end date and asks for no card. What it has is monthly allowances; when one runs out, that feature waits for the next period while everything else keeps working.
- How are the 30 minutes counted?
- Over a rolling 30-day period that starts with your first use, not on the first of the month. When the period ends the counters reset on their own. Only speech sent for transcription counts — typing a note costs nothing.
- I have more than five clients on Pro. What happens if I go back to Free?
- Nothing is deleted or hidden. Every client, session and note stays where it is and can still be exported; the limit only stops you adding a sixth client until you archive one or subscribe again.
- How do I cancel?
- In Settings, in one step, without writing to anyone. Pro stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and the account becomes Free after that.
- Do you refund?
- Checkout asks you to waive the 14-day EU right of withdrawal so access can start immediately, and after that a purchase is not refunded. Cancelling at any time is always available, and you keep what you paid for until the period ends.
- Can I take my data with me?
- Yes, on any plan, including the free one. The export covers clients, sessions, notes with their earlier versions, forms and responses. Dictation audio is not in it because it is never stored — only the text is.
